Computer-Based Provider Order Entry (CPOE)

OmniMD’s computer-based provider order entry (CPOE) module enables a patient’s care provider—or other qualified medical staff—to create and send an order instantly to a pharmacy, laboratory, radiology or any respective department directly through a computer network, either at point-of-care or offsite.

It also prevents medical errors by providing real-time clinical decision support such as recommending dosage and alternative medication and alerting against duplicate dosage warnings, harmful drug-to-drug interactions and allergies.
