| EHR Solution Overview |
OmniMD Ambulatory Electronic Health Records System is fully qualified to offer Meaningful Use support to providers.
As of May 2011, eligible hospitals and practices began receiving the first tranche of EHR financial incentives under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH Act). To earn the incentives, they fulfilled the stipulated Stage 1 Meaningful Use objectives after adopting a certified EHR system.
Eligible physician practices can earn up to $44,000 under the Medicare program or $63,500 under the Medicaid program in financial incentives as of 2011, if they demonstrate Meaningful Use of EHR technology.
OmniMD has the requisite technical qualifications and expertise to enable providers to meet their Meaningful Use targets. In fact, over 6,500 of our clients are already readying to earn their incentives.
OmniMD Version 11.0 is a comprehensive ambulatory EHR solution with integrated electronic medical record and practice management system modules and is an ONC-ATCB certified complete EHR (2011–2012). It also has a pre-market certification as a CCHIT Certified System (2011, Ambulatory EHR) with five-star usability and is fully eligible to be your technology partner to implement an EHR system to help you earn cash incentives.
Call us to find out how you can be a beneficiary of the EHR incentives—and there’s no reason not to: providers who do not demonstrate Meaningful Use of EHR by 2015 will be penalized through a reduction of 1% in annual Medicare reimbursements.
